Evo 9 retune for biggie injectors
This car came in for a retune with the ARC box / GM 3 port and the RC 1000cc injectors. He wanted the 1000cc since he is moving to E85 very soon. The RC 1000cc’s work great on the stock ecu. Fuel trims are spot on and the car is very smooth.
This Evo ended up having a bad wastegate actuator (was in a accident which pushed in the turbo area) which cause some really bad boost spikes that could not be reigned in by tuning. I swapped a actuator on the dyno (fun!) and finished up the tune. There was still some weird boost oddites that cause a little dip after peak boost but not sure what is causing it now. Looking into it.
